Nails Next Top Nail Artist Season 1 alum Tameka Jackson announced her new launch with Kiss Products at a gala in Los Angeles Thursday night.
The social media maven and reality TV star is known for her on-point matte manicures, and that’s actually what she created for Kiss. Kiss’s Trendsetters collection features tips designed by big names within the nail art social media space. Jackson’s set contains matte cobalt nails along with black and white graphics prints, complete with jewels. Jackson’s Enamel Diction colleague, Erin Hoover (@ehnails), applied the tips to NAILS editor Erika Kotite using nail glue.

The party attracted more than just trendsetters waiting to get their nails done. Actress Vanessa Simmons — one of Jackson’s regular clients — stopped by to celebrate, as did nail tech/filmmaker Ayla Montgomery (@nailgasmtv). A DJ spun tunes while guests sipped drinks and snacked on sweets. A big reveal was made later in the evening when it was announced that Jackson had also designed a bejeweled version of the Kiss tips that would be released in November.
