As I mentioned in the last blog post, I had the privilege of teaching at ISSE Long Beach this past weekend. The class was about how to find inspiration and ways of executing designs with the skills and mediums that you have. It also included ways to speak to your clients that help them value you as an artist and professional, so that you are able to command premium prices for your services. We also discussed verbiage to make nail art less intimidating, easier for you to create, and for the client to select and pay for.

Following the #naileyes portion of the class, the subject was social media and how to better use it to gain followers who could become clients. There are ways to connect your social media channels together as well as ways to use hashtags that make the time you spend on social media a better return on investment. We covered a few rules of engagement and there were some great questions.

One cool thing about the class is that Jessey, owner and creator of Lably, came in to do a live recording of the class making it available around the world during class and now after. So if you wanted to catch it and the time just didn’t work for you, it is now available on demand. You just register and watch the class as many times as you like! You can check it out here.
