The Grand Opening of Coty's New Headquarters

Coty invited us at NAILS Magazine to visit their new North American headquarters in Calabasas, where they served everyone a celebratory brunch buffet and mimosas.

The brunch was delicious, complete with quiche, cheesey hash browns, pancakes, fresh fruit, and more. There was also coffee and mimosas to enjoy while learning about their new campus.

Although the company moved in around January, the space was finally complete May 24 to show off to the rest of the beauty industry. Their new campus is gorgeous! The building is spacious and well-lit with large windows. Outside there are social seating areas that overlook surrounding nature. There are rose bushes and actual hiking paths really close to the campus where the Coty team can stroll during their breaks.

After eating, Anne Moratto and Greg McConnell (who both work for our sister publication Modern Salon) and I took a tour of the building, passing by areas like the chemistry lab, the salon where they test the polish, and meeting rooms with names like 'Lacquer.'

We then watched a ribbon cutting ceremony where David Shapiro, the mayor of Calabasas, gave a welcoming speech before attendees entered the Wella studio. The studio is huge with many different areas, hardwood stairs, speaking areas, and beauty product displays.

It was exciting to see the new headquarters make its official debut.

Thanks to Coty for having us, as always!
