Donut Day Nail Art: Yum!

Here are two step-by-steps done by Vu Nguyen for Morgan Taylor in honor of National Donut Day.

Frosted Delight

  1. After completing your Gelish nail prep, apply a thin coat of Brights Have More Fun making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Repeat for full coverage.
  2. With a fine point brush, apply Taupe Model. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light.
  3. Apply Flip Flops & Tube Tops and Lust At First Sight. Apply shading under the donut with Lust At First Sight. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light.
  4. Add dots of colors on top of the chocolate donut and do the shading in the center of the pink donut. Apply the frosting on top of the pink donut with Artic Freeze. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Apply Top It Off to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. With Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail. Finish your look by massaging Nourish Cuticle Oil into the skin surrounding the nail plate.

 

Cinnamon Swirl

  1. After completing your Gelish nail prep, apply a thin coat of Taupe Model, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Repeat for full coverage.
  2. With a fine point brush apply a dot in the center of the nail using Lust At First Sight.
  3. From that dot create a swirl with Lust At First Sight. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED light.
  4. With a fine-point brush reapply the swirl, then with firm pressure blend the swirl to make the shading. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. Apply Top It Off to the entire nail making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in the 18G LED Light. With Nail Surface Cleanse and Wipe It Off lint-free wipes, cleanse the inhibition layer of the nail. Finish your look by massaging Nourish Cuticle Oil into the skin surrounding the nail plate.
