Real Simple magazine suggests sophisticated lavender nails of different hues and a polish accelerator for a quick, mess-free dry. In its April issue, the magazine says this of each color:
- Orly's Sweet Lollipop has an opaque finish.
- OPI's Pandamonium Pink is way cooler than sheer pink.
- YSL's La Laque #143 Mauve Silk: layer on for intensity.
- American Apparel's Dynasty is great on darker skin tones.
