Los Angeles County-based nail tech Taylor Barr survived a gunshot wound in her arm after her father attempted to shield her from the bullets at the Route 91 Harvest Festival Sunday night, according to a CNN report. She was driven to the hospital by strangers.

Despite the trauma Barr went through, she says the pain from the gunshot was lost amidst the commotion.

"All the adrenaline and confusion, I don't remember feeling it that much," she said in an interview with CNN.

Barr's feeling in her left hand is limited, and doctors say the healing process will take at least a year. She will not be able to work as a nail tech during this time.

Barr's aunt set up a GoFundMe for those interested in donating to her medical bills and recovery process.
