Glamour's seventh annual Glammy Awards, in which readers vote on their favorite beauty products, gave the "Best Nail Polishes" award to both OPI and Sally Hansen.

First-time winner Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure won for its newly designed brush, which is wider, therefore requiring fewer strokes.

OPI Nail Lacquer, a two-time winner of this award, was prided on its chip-resistant quality, long shelf life, and the fact that it comes in hundreds of colors.

The award was also split into two categories: "From Drugstores" and "From Specialty Stores/Salons." Naturally, Sally Hansen fell into the first category, while OPI fell into the latter.
