The November 2011 issue of Teen Vogue shares the newest way to bring the runway straight to your client's fingertips. "Runway Manicure" is a couture process by which each nail is hand-painted to mimic the prints from any given designer's collection.

Fashion blogger Jane Keltner de Valle traveled down to Tomahawk Salon in Bushwick, N.Y. to have nail artist Fleury Rose make it happen. To capture all the intricate details, Fleury, who trained as a fine artist, used a needle-thin brush, acrylics, and a painter's palette.

Each manicure took about three hours, as the blogger watched ten works of art come together on her fingertips. The couture nail treatment was priced at around $60.
