InStyle's September 2012 issue tells readers how to get holographic nails using Layla Cosmetics' nail polish, file and polish protector.

Users must rub nails with the pink side of Layla's Hologram Effect base file to rough the nail surface and then use the other side to shine it down.

After, apply two layers of Ultra Violet (or any other holographic effect color) and then seal it with Layla's Brilliant Due nail polish protector. Made with lightweight materials, this polish should last four days.

Manicurist Jin Soon Choi says it's easy to apply and quick to dry. She also told InStyle that she loves the way "the hologram effect blurs the line between nail polish and nail art."
