Week 2: Entity Beauty
The future is a mystery so my design reflects the beauty of the cosmos. We all have a distinct existence that is as mysterious as masquerade and crystal balls. It is in our hope that the future will be bright and beautiful.

My appliqué design was inspired from some of the 2014 Spring/Summer designer creations from last week’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Each of the trends made their presence, ranging in color moods, mixed organic and fixed patterns along with blended materials and varied styling details. The prints, pigments and decorations I saw for the upcoming season are a vibrant selection from the Pantone Color Report. The pearlescent, transparent layered watercolors created a visual blend of electric and exotic glass hues. Reflections of wisteria, quenching acid greens, popping aquamarine and zaps of orange and red graced the runway. Be sure to check out some wonderful works of art by Joanna Mastroianni, Monique Lhuillier, Richard Chai, Supima, Jon Jung Wan, Jill Stuart, Mara Hoffman, Herve Leger by Max Azaria, and my favorite designers at Desiqual, just to name a few. You’ll see awesome diamond harlequins, electric daisy pop florals, lace cut outs, and immense metal zings. My nail appliqués can easily be combined with other looks to create a fun pop of bejeweled color on your nails.
