To celebrate China Glaze’s new nail art collection as well as Pablo Picasso’s would-be 134th birthday, we asked our Top 6 to paint a Picasso-inspired masterpiece on a single hand. They were allowed to paint whatever they wanted, so long as it was done in Picasso’s style.
This is a hand painting challenge, so acrylic paints and polish ONLY were allowed, in fact, lacquer must make up at least 50% of the final design. Artwork could be done on tips, so long as they were applied on an actual hand for the final submitted photos. To get a better idea of how the contestants unleashed their inner Picasso, we had them create a 3-5 minute video depicting how they painted their design and the inspiration behind the subject matter.
The winner of this week’s challenge will receive the top 50 shades from the leading lacquer brand, plus a selection of Nail Art Liners to complete any nail art kit! (Approximate retail value: $500)
