In alphabetical order, the top 3 are:
Halley: The judges agree that the inspiration, execution, and tutorial for this set were very cool and very detailed. The spray paint cans on the thumbnails were a huge hit. Nice job!
Hemi: The cultural inspiration behind these nails was a strong choice and the judges thought the palette suited it perfectly. Well done!
Valerie: Excellent use of pastels to show off your phenomenal sculpting capabilities. Bravo!
The following techs can breathe again. They are in the middle of this week’s pack and are safe. Congratulations to:
Ashton: While Dali doesn’t exactly read street art, the judges appreciated your twist on the theme and use of color. Your tutorial was good overall, but some of the steps can be a tad confusing, so watch the numbering of the pictures.
Dana: The judges thought the brick work was very creative and offset the sweetness of the pastels. Well done! In your tutorials, make sure the lighting is bright enough and that your photos are numbered to make it easier to follow.
Unfortunately, there always has to be a bottom group. The bottom 3, in alphabetical order, are:
Jenna: The contrast between the flamingos, graffiti, and skulls was very cool and well done. At this point in the competition, however, you need to push your design. For your tutorial, try and keep the text lighter and number your photos to align with the instructions.
Kostadina: The judges really liked the spilled paint look, but they wonder if you took this too far. Your design this week was overwhelming and your tutorial was also hard to follow, so add numbers to text and photos to align instructions.
Sammi: Your concept was a creative one that the judges liked seeing come together with the hand pose. They recommend you number your copy to photos to make the tutorial easier to follow.
