Madonna’s “Vogue” is an iconic song that will serve as inspiration for this En Vogue challenge. The Top 6 were asked to Sculpt five nails on an actual model with Madonna as their muse. To emphasize this Vogue set, En Vogue’s signature “V” from their logo had to be incorporated into the artwork. The judges at En Vogue also want to see the process for the sculpting, so contestants had to make sure and include a sample of this technique plus their artwork in a 5 minute video tutorial. Embellishments and 3-D artwork were allowed, but acrylic may not be used (except for acrylic paint).
The winner of this week’s challenge will receive an En Vogue trolley with the complete En Vogue product line inside, including Starter Kit With Light, Simply Pro Kit, 8 Simply Color Gels, 6 Lac It! Gel-Polishes, Lac It! Base, Top, and Matte Top Coat (approximate value: $850).
