For Season 5’s third Last Chance Design Lab challenge sponsored by CND, Jenna Jupin and Stella Sampson will battle it out one-on-one to see who has a chance of staying in the competition. CND’s Jan Arnold will select her favorite look Friday and you’ll find out who will remain for at least one more week.
All Last Chance challenges are done on a single nail tip. Contestants are also asked to describe their looks. There are no other elements to this battle.
Since Stella packed her paintbrushes after Tammy Taylor’s Love Story challenge, this week’s Last Chance challenge is loosely related.
Self Love: Illustrate what you love most about yourself using 3-D art on a single nail tip.

Jenna Jupin
This creation symbolizes the things that I love the most about myself. My mouth sucking on my eyeball, symbolizes the love for my taste. I love that I think outside the box and don’t do anything just because other people are doing it or to please somebody’s eyes. I love the look of my plump lips and that I have the possibility and confidence to have a voice through my art and job. These lips feature tiny 3-D flowers with heart-shaped petals all over, symbolizing my huge love and inspiration from nature. The color of my iris shows my descent, which I’m very proud of. I love my ability to look everyone in the eye and stand up for who I am. I love that I see the very best in in life and people, as well as carrying a positive attitude. That’s what the heart and the pupil symbolize.
Stella Sampson
In general terms, I love myself. What I think is my best quality and what I love most about myself is my ability to overcome difficulties in all fields of my life and continuing to grow stronger from the experience. For this reason I chose to make a phoenix. A phoenix is a mythological creature which dies and is reborn through its ashes. For me, it symbolizes rebirth, a new beginning, the strength and the ability to learn from your mistakes.
Congratulations to Jenna Jupin for winning the third Last Chance Design Lab challenge of Season 6! Jenna went up against Stella Sampson to show us what she loved most about herself. CND’s Jan Arnold chose the winner.
