Congratulations to Stella Sampson on her third NTNA win of the season! The judges thought her triangular Katy Perry-inspired French was impossibly good!
Guest judge Shanee Pink of ORLY says, “Wonderful execution and concept. It is obvious that you put a lot of value in consistency and planning. Your use of molds for your triangles and the amount of detailing in your butterflies really showcases your skill.”
Season 6 champion Ashton Harlan says, “I love that she has completely merged her two professions to give us such beautiful and clean designs! She’s a breath of fresh air in our ever-evolving industry, and I look forward to seeing her next piece of engineered art!”
Head judge Beth Livesay says, “I think I watched the triangle making three times to see that it was real. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Once again, you engineered amazing nail art that’s clean, photographs well, and takes nails to the next level. This is an iconic French that’s next level!”
Head judge Jan Arnold says, “Clean, pristine perfection that required multiple views of the video out of sheer delight and amazement! Your impossible triangles are beyond, your own nails are clean & healthy, the design is light and minimal but hugely impactful in its sophistication!”
Stella will win a gift pack from ORLY valued at $500!
The nail artist who will be packing her paintbrushes this week is…Becca. Becca, you’ve proved to be a very worthy NTNA competitor. The judges were impressed week after week with your out of the box thinking, teaching, and magnificent hand painting. We are all so glad you participated and that we got to know you and your many talents. Rest assured, we’ll be keeping up with you, as we think you’re only going to be more of a force in the nail world.
For now, Becca will move on to the CND Last Chance Design Lab, where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back next Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — April or Becca.
Tune in Monday to see the entries for the Gel II challenge and vote for your favorites! Good luck to our remaining Top 6 competitors!
