Time to Shine: Who Won and Who is Packing Up Their Brushes?

Season 6 champion Ashton Harlan says, “Gorgeous! The marble and roping are so flattering and really make the Swarovski embellishments the focal points of this design. This is minimalism at it’s best. Her editorial photo could be an ad in any decade. This design is truly timeless!”

Head judge Jan Arnold says, “Another brilliant performance! Bravo! The ‘Morimoto’ marbling technique is fantastic. The moire is off the charts. One word of crtitque: watch the lower arches of the enhancement for consistency among all five nails. A bit uneven but not tragic.”

Head judge Beth Livesay says, “Another engineering feat with brilliant crystals as the star of the show! The rope is very different but it works. I think your styled image is the strongest and it would definitely fit within a Swarovski trend report.”

The nail artist who will be packing her paintbrushes this week is…Giselle. Giselle has showed tremendous improvement with her video skills this season! We have enjoyed seeing her clean, crisp, and fun designs week after week. Giselle’s energy and vibrancy will be missed!

For now, Giselle will move on to the CND Last Chance Design Lab, where she’ll have one last chance to stay in the competition. Check back next Friday to see who will move on in our Last Chance battle — April or Giselle!
