Ty Bobit and Tony Cuccio, 1996

Bobit Business Media is celebrating its golden anniversary - 50 years under the same family ownership. In 1961, Ed Bobit launched Bobit Publishing and its flagship publication, Automotive Fleet. In 1988, Bobit purchased NAILS Magazine, which ends up becoming not only one of the most successful acquisitions the company has made, but a real jewel in the crown, winning awards for editorial and design excellence year in, year out.
