My lamp is a halogen lamp and it’s very flexible so I can move it around wherever I need it. It’s nice because it doesn’t get hot either. — Vicki Strom

I use a Maglite for facials. My husband drilled a hole in my table and took the light off of the pole to install it. I would love to say I don’t need the magnifier, but I use it a lot. I also like the clean fluorescent light. It’s very bright and the arm is nice to move the light and magnifier around. — Sheila Greer

I use an Ott light. It mimics natural lighting and puts out the right amount of light I need to create beautiful nails. I have one on the floor and one at my pedicure station too. — Meggan Anderson

The light source at your nail table is just as important of a tool as your acrylic sculpting brush. Without a good lamp, how are you supposed to see the intricate details of what you’re doing on a client’s nails?
