I use UV gel top coats over my pink-and-whites. Sometimes they don’t set up right — they pit and separate — and sometimes they seem great, only to pit and separate later in the day. Could it be due to air getting in the bottle? It drives me crazy.
If you are seeing air bubbles in the product, make sure you are removing them before curing. Store your bottle in a dark cool place and do not shake it. Shape the free edges, sidewalls, and nail surfaces using a file that is not any smoother than a 150-grit file.-- Eleanor Victor is supervisor of technical support for OPI Products.
