How can I prevent lifting when my client's hands are constantly in water?

I have a client who is in the medical field so her hands are constantly in water. She has me keep the length of her acrylic nails short. No matter what I do, she always has at least one nail that comes off, and she always has lifting and gets water under the acrylic. I prep the nails correctly, I have a cuticle bit to clean the cuticle area, and I wipe the nail with alcohol, dehydrate the nail, and prime the nail. What should I do?

Why isn’t my Gelish application curing properly?

I am having a hard time with my Gelish drying dull at the end of the service when I wipe the dispersion layer. Sometimes the colors don’t adhere to the foundation and then it all wipes off. It seems to be the same clients this happens with and then with others there are no problems at all.

Is it true that gels thin out a client’s nails?

I have so many nail clients who say gel nails thin out their nails. Is this true? When I do a fill, I don’t get right down to their natural nail, unless it has lifted. I always leave as much of the gel on their nail as I can, to protect their natural nail. So, can you tell me, if in fact gel nails thin out their natural nails?

LED lamp efficacy across gel brands

Will the new LED lamps work with regular UV gels such as IBD, CND, or Star Nail, or does it only cure hybrid gels such as Gelish, Shellac, Gellac and other soak-off gels?

Should I apply more than one coat of primer before applying gels?

I applied one coat of gel on natural nails, and the gel peeled off the next day. Should I have used more than one coat of primer? The only preparation I did was to buff the shine off of my client’s clean nails, dust, apply a bonder, then one coat of gel, and let cure. What am I missing?
