As you all know, part of my job as the editor of NAILS is visiting salons whenever I'm out "on the road." Over the past 16 years, I've traveled far and wide and had the privilege of peeking inside many beautiful salons. I've enjoyed each and every service (well, I'm sure there are a few I didn't enjoy, but those have slipped my mind) and I'm honored to have met with so many great nail techs and salon owners.
From New York to Hawaii and from Switzerland to Japan (and of course plenty in California), here's a look at some of my adventures in nail-land. (Please note, these aren't in chronological order because after so many years and so many pedicures, who could possibly keep track?)
