Colombian nail artist Heidy Aristizabal (better known as “H la Cosedora”) is gathering together 500 students on Saturday, May 16, and will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the largest nail art lesson ever. The event is free and each participant will also receive a kit containing four Maxybelt polishes, a dotting tool, a brush, and Swarovski crystals from Prestige & Crystals.

Aristizabal plans to teach four different techniques:

1. How to create an ombre pattern using nail art sponges.

2. How to make a stunning design using dotting tools.

3. How to make a design using a brush.

4. How to correctly apply Swarovski crystals.

The event will be transmitted live on the Internet via Aristizabal’s YouTube channel and she invites all nail art aficionados to follow along. The broadcast is set to start at 10:30 a.m. Bogota time (GMT-5). All the money raised that day will be donated to the Tulipan Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps families living in the poorest areas of Bogota by providing educational and recreational programs.
