Competition practice has begun! I think it would be tricky to find someone willing to wear one hand red and one French, which means application then removal and then reapplication. With that in mind, I've decided to start out practicing French and red individually. Ideally if I can do both of them in 30 minutes, I should be able to do a hand of each in the same time. My plan is to then try practicing the half and half closer to the competition. Keep in mind, when I'm saying 30 minutes for application, that's strictly wiping the nails clean and putting the polish on, then removing the top film at the finish. Cuticle work and shaping can thankfully be done ahead of time! For my first time trying the timer, I was just over the 30 minutes polishing the French. This gives me hope that I can do it with some practice to get the time down. Thanks again for all the support! This is so much easier with your encouragement and the sponsorship from CND!!
