To know George Schaeffer is to know his enormous generosity. Not even a year after his multi-million dollar fund-raiser for City of Hope, George invited friends to celebrate the dedication of the George W. Schaeffer Lobby at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, for which he has raised a significant amount of money. Held, coincidentally, on George’s birthday, the dedication was less than two years after George made his gift to the hospital.

The hospital was where George’s daughter Nicole was born and where George underwent heart surgery many years ago, so he has, in his own words, “A very special place in my heart for this place.”
