It is always awesome to meet and know people who have a passion for what they do. This is even true for me when spending time with educators from other companies! I have had the privilege of getting to know a couple educators for Lanza and enjoy hearing them talk about the products and what they can do.
If you ever get a service from an educator you know what I mean. They do not simply slap some color on your hair and talk about their latest bar crawl. They talk to you about your color goals, your maintenance expectations and more, similar to what we do with nails.

I have been anxious to try an ombre style in my hair as I love the look of it on nails. Anthony of Headley & Crawford Salon is passionate about nails while he also loves to educate for Lanza. He felt up to the task of ombre and was so great in explaining the process and home care to me.
I find that cosmetologists are like nail professionals and some insert education into every step of what they do. His salon actually offers three systems, Lanza for hair, CND for nails, and Dermalogica for skin. I love that they are excited to specialize in three separate areas, but stick with a complete system for each area. It is easier to know more about one product than to know much about multiple products. I understand the concept of options as well; there are pros and cons either way.
I’m proud to say I know two new CND Grand Masters at Headley & Crawford, while also being excited to have a wicked cool ombre on my hair— color inspired by one of my fave colors of Shellac. Am I a bit of a geek? Sure, but it makes finding kindred spirits always a joy!

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
It has been quite a while since I made a video for the e-file chronicles so an update to that seemed in order. The latest installment is removing gel-polish from an enhancement.
