That is a cool look, Jill. This look can be done in a variety of ways. It can be done with Gelish by following the steps below.

1. Sanitize your hands and the guest’s.

2. Push back the cuticle and remove non-living tissue from the nail plate.

3. Shape the free edge with a 240/240-grit wooden file.

4. Remove the shine from the nail with the soft side of the 180/100 sponge buffer.

5. Remove dust with Gel Cleanser on a lint-free wipe.

6. Apply a very thin coat of foundation gel to the nail making sure to cap the free edge and cure for 5 seconds in the 18 G LED light.

7. Apply your chosen color in a thin application and cure for 30 seconds.

8. Apply your second coat of color and cure for 30 seconds.

9. Take the transfer foil and press into the inhibition layer of the Gelish and pull away. The foil will transfer to the nail. Repeat for all 10 fingers.

10. Apply Top it Off and cure for 30 seconds.

11. Cleanse the inhibition layer with Gel Cleanser on a lint-free wipe.

12. Apply Nourish cuticle oil to the cuticle and massage in.

13. Remove excess oil with a clean lint-free wipe.

Voilà — super shiny nails.

These kinds of foils can also be used with hard gel and resin. You just have to have a tacky surface to apply them to.
