Do you use Pinterest for your clients? I hear a lot of techs say they don’t want to copy someone else’s work. There’s also the issue of not quite being able to duplicate something. Keep in mind that there is something about the nails in the photo that captured your client’s interest. By discussing the photo with your client, you can discover what it is they loved about it and create your own design using the photo as inspiration. I have done this and taken a few pictures so that you can see what I mean.
My client was not looking to have enhancements which are pictured in the photo and she liked the colors and idea of the design. I pointed out things I would alter to suit her nails and my style of work. We agreed on changes and a culmination of designs. I did a loose trace of her hand then made notes of what we wanted to do with the nails since it was a variety of design. We also discussed price as doing individually different art on each nail takes longer therefore costs more.
