Met up with Anette Claesson, a very old friend who used to run a nail academy in Sweden. She’s focusing all her energy these days on Naglar inorden, her nail magazine. She told us that in Sweden it’s mandatory to have a government-tested exhaust system in your salon. Due to socialized medicine, the government noticed there was a high number of nail technicians reporting allergies related to their work in the nail salon, and so instituted the preventative regulation.
