Greg Salo of Young Nails, was as excited as ever to educate techs at the show.


Manager of Nail Labo, Chia Ho showed me some of Nail Labo’s newest products, like the Nail de Dance collection of acrylic powders.

European Touch introduced its new SpaSafe disinfectant line.

Jessica Cosmetics showcased its new Botanicals polish collection.

Trang Nguyen of Odyssey Nail Systems, and Newton Luu of LeChat, share some industry stories with our editor Hannah Lee.

Allison Peterson, global educator for A.I.I., talked about how the economy has affected her salon in Salt Lake City, Utah. “It’s definitely been slower at the salon, so we’ve been making adjustments. We’ve lowered some prices and we’re offering special packages, like $5 off a set with purchase of another service. People seem to be taking to it though.”

Arica Carpenter of Cuccio Naturalé was there to display Cuccio’s newest products of scrubs and lotions.

INM educator Lisa Harcrow talked about how her salon in Joplin, Missouri has adapted to the economy. “We’ve moved client appointments to make sure we work full days. If we have a day booked with lots of gaps, we’ll move them to the full days and then take the empty days off.”
