With the kids headed back to school, it has me in the mood for some further education myself. Fall always makes me want to carve out a bit of time to curl up with a good book! How would you feel about starting a book club? We could read one book at a time and take it pretty slowly since we're all so busy. I'm thinking a chapter per week. What do you think?

If the idea appeals to you, let's start right after Labor Day. I just got an email from Doug Schoon with a special on his book and DVD, so why don't we make "Nail Structure and Product Chemistry" our first book?

If you don't already have it, here's the special: save 50% on the DVD "Doug Schoon's Brain in 3-D" when you purchase his book "Nail Structure and Product Chemistry" now! The offer is good through August 31.

Purchase books at http://schoonscientific.com/purchase-books-dvd.html

If you have suggestions for books to read after we finish this one, please let me know!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
