Here are some great blog posts to start off the summer season! I am excited myself to start off the season because I’m working at Bobit Business Media for the summer, home of NAILS Magazine and many other great publications.

Jim Nordstrom shared his thoughts on the nail tech industry as well as advice on being a tech in his blog “Jim Nordstrom Shares His Thoughts with the Finnish Nail Association”.

In a blog post titled “Make Summer Style Purple Nail Art” naildesigners.net  showed different designs that primarily use purple in fun designs perfectly fit for summer. These designs are a great way to show off that color in the bright summer sunshine.

Vicki Peters wrote an inspiring story about her journey through the nail tech industry in her blog post “Polish Salon”. We found this to be a great story about a journey through a nail tech’s career. Vicki also blogs for NAILS Magazine. Read more from Vicki on her blog “Blueprint of a First Year”.

The blog The Purple Pinkie got creative with a post titled “Prom 2012” where they made a video of the nails that they did during prom season. This slide show presented some amazing designs.

Vivcat Design wrote about a product of theirs called a bling box on their post titled “Vivcat Design Blingbox”. The post explains that the item is “need to have” for any organized nail tech that does a lot of traveling.
