One of the awesome things about being a nail professional is bartering or trading your nail services! This past week NAILS Magazine’s own Sigourney Nuñez became an officially licensed nail professional! In addition to being very proud of her, I have also been in love with her clever and fun nail fashion style. This prompted me to check if she would be interested in a service swap.

We ended up meeting at the Empower Nail Art office in Thousand Oaks, Calif. and even broadcasted live over Periscope (it’s an app). It was so much fun to trade services and a huge honor to be her first nail barter.

Thanks to all those that came on Periscope so late on a Friday night without any warning and had some fun goofing around with us. Looks like you never know when NAILS will be broadcasting live!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia.
