Even if you don't come to a CND class, at least come have fun with me at the smile booth after class!
Who is ready to hit Premiere Orlando for some nail geeks and education freaks? I am so excited to be with my nail family again and plan to wallow in the passion for our industry that surrounds everyone.
What booths are you planning to visit this year? Will you be taking any classes? I am pretty excited to share that not only will I be providing support and social media in the CND classroom, I will be on stage! Squeee! I would be so honored if you would come to a class for moral support. This is my first time facilitating on stage in Orlando. I even get to be up there with one of my mentors, which is amazing.

My adorable Manipro is from Kupa. I wonder what colors they will have at the booth?
Sunday is the Troubleshooting class from 12:30-2 p.m. in the CND classroom (W205AB). If you have any troubles in the salon — from why does this nail chip to why did that nail lift and everything in between — this is the class for you. No matter what product you use, let Kristina, Lynn, and I help you find the answers to the product issues that plague you. There’s no charge for the classes in Orlando, so be sure to register ahead of time in order to save a seat.
Monday brings a Retention+ class from 10-11:15 a.m. which will cover some tips and tricks to make sure you are seeing success with your liquid and powder consistently. If smile lines make you cringe, this is definitely the class to get a hold of how to make them work for you.
The NAILS Networking Event shouldn't be missed — it's full of nail geeks and knowledge!
While those are the only two classes where you’ll find me helping from on stage, there are also a couple other great options. Saturday from 1-2:30 p.m. the crowd favorite will be on: Advancing the State of the Industry Through Trend Prediction. If you didn’t see it in Chicago, make sure to get in on it here. One of my favorite people, Lauren Wireman of Wildflowers Nail Academy, will be a guest speaker, in addition to Jan Arnold and Doug Schoon. If nail art is your thing, the Seasonal Trend on Sunday from 10-11:15 a.m. is full of easy ideas for wowing your clients. Then there is the crazy amazing runway show in the CND booth (2543) on the show floor!
If you do not make it to the CND classroom to say hello, I hope to see you at NAILS’ Annual Networking Event on Sunday night at the Rosen Centre. It has become a tradition and shouldn’t be missed by any nail professional.
What booths and classes are you looking forward to seeing at the show? Rumor has it Wildflowers will have a bigger booth than usual at 2743. It also sounds like David from Valentino is ready to debut his full salon furniture line with Whale Spa in booth 2357. It looks amazing in the pictures. I would love to know what you think.

The picture looks great. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on the new Valentino furniture when you see it at #premiereorlando.
Atwood Industries has the MOST amazing little set of short nail art brushes that have caps that screw on. They are tiny and perfect and I simply adore them. Stop by their booth (2306) and ask to see the art brushes the FingerNailFixer can’t live without. They will know exactly what you want as I have physically dragged people over to show them the brushes when I can!
The Profiles booth (2627) is always full of bling. I’ve been using their mylar lately in some fun designs. Kupa is at booth 2343 with in-booth raffles. They are where my adorable teal Manipro came from!
Be sure to use #nailsmagazine in all your show posts so I can see what’s up through your eyes!

This video is a really awesome resource for figuring out a reasonable hourly rate for yourself in addition to seeing the average your area can bear in service prices in some ways.
Have you ever heard of the stages of grief? With everything going on, we are grieving our “normal”. That means you should give yourself permission to feel the way you feel.
Has all this PPE business got you down? Does it feel like it cramps your style? One way to help it cheer you up which will in turn cheer up your clients is to add some sparkle.
For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
It has been quite a while since I made a video for the e-file chronicles so an update to that seemed in order. The latest installment is removing gel-polish from an enhancement.
