I'm passionate about improving our beauty schools and our next generation of beauty professionals -- that's the main reason why I recently headed up a team to launch our new Nail School News website and e-newsletter -- so I wanted to make sure you know about a great tradeshow that is specifically geared toward students and instructors.

The Barristar Beauty School Forum travels to numerous cities in the U.S., and student tickets are only $20 ahead of time ($25 at the door) and instructors get in free. Like the bigger beauty shows, this intimate show offers exhibit booths, demos, continuing education, guest artist appearances, and a competition. The beauty of the Barristar Forum is all of these great things are geared toward students.

So if you're near Mesa, Ariz., be sure to attend the show on March 17.

And if you're near Anaheim, Calif., be sure to attend the show on April 7-8.
