A client recently texted me a photo showing how her nails matched the ornaments she was using to decorate her office. I loved the photo and wondered how I could encourage more clients to do fun things like that. Social media is the best word-of-mouth system there is these days, and it’s smart to make use of this tool that’s right at our fingertips.
I’m thinking of a running a holiday contest where clients post photos of their nails between now and Christmas, then I save them and upload them to my page for followers to vote on a favorite. It would encourage cool nails, sharing the cool nails, and spread my hashtag around a little more. The winner could perhaps select a retail item ($20 or less) as a prize.
