Day two at #nailcamp started out with competitions. There were several categories and experience levels you could enter. With cash prizes on the line, you might as well have a go at it. The environment was very relaxed and everyone appeared to be having a good time. I had the pleasure of being a model for newly graduated Lucien Henderson and legendary Shannon McCowen! Each entrant had an hour to do one hand, and then the judging took place. Awards for the competition were given out that night after dinner.
By mid-day, 75-minute classes were available for attendees to choose from. These classes were all included in the cost of attendance. There was a large selection of classes to choose from and on day two, you had three 75-minute time slots to attend the classes of your choice. I was at this event for Empower Nail Art, so those are the classes I taught. Across from me was the amazing Sandy Burgess from Be Creative.
