Do you ever have a fangirl/fanboy moment when you just can’t believe you have met someone in the flesh? It is such an exhilarating feeling, isn’t it? Recently at the NW Nail Retreat I had the honor of being a nail judge and it was so cool to see some of the incredible nails done at every skill level. The mixed media were a hit with all the attendees and the novice and student work was even breathtaking! As some of you know I am a fan of metal so imagine my surprise to see a killer set of Iron Maiden nails! They were absolutely spectacular with a dimension that blew my mind. I could not even completely comprehend what it would take to achieve the look and it was not possible to video it in a way that you could see the depth that was visible with the naked eye. Imagine my surprise to find it was a Facebook friend, Suzie LaRose from Canada, and to meet her in person! I spent the weekend in absolute awe totally fangirling and blushing every time we said hello. When was your last fangirl/fanboy moment and who do you hope for the next one to be?
