Whew! That last assignment was a challenge! Did you print your before and after collages on photo paper, cardstock, or regular paper, slide them into page protectors and add them to your notebook?

This assignment is retail-related. One of the key items we should be retailing for nails, no matter the service, is oil. Before we delve into a page for retailing oil, I would like you to have a better understanding of its importance. For those of you that view this assignment before Sunday, October 31, 2010 — 8 a.m. PST, I challenge you to at least view segment/image 3-4 and 5-7 of Doug Schoon’s Brain. (Please note that Doug has generously extended his viewing window 15 days to help accommodate everyone so please be sure you go get that valuable education! It does not cost you anything to do and it is available online here.

Shockingly people use things besides Solar Oil ;o) So your assignment is to create an informative piece on the oil that you use, as well as take a fun picture or two. If you do happen to use Solar Oil I have a piece written for you that I will post and you can copy, those using something else can use this as a template to get ideas!

Are you using your SolarOil daily?

To Use: Massage into nail and cuticle area to soften and condition as part of your daily routine. SolarOil can also be used as an enamel dry and conditioner. Use SolarBalm on cuticles, lips, heels, elbows….anywhere extra moisture is needed!

Be creative with your photos and make the oil look fun and appealing. Then use your fancy collage making skills and create a piece that includes your photo and the educational material. You may need to hit in the text box to create your own text wrapping if it goes off the page. If you need a reminder on walking through the photo program, just refer back to Assignment #3. If you like, add a fun caption to the photo then print, slide into a page protector and add it to your notebook!
