Here I am with my coworkers for the weekend: Kim Jones and Debbie Harris

I spent this past weekend in Gatlinburg, Tenn., for the Nail Tech Event of the Smokies. It was the 10th anniversary of the event itself, and I loved seeing all the nail professionals ready for education.

What are some of your favorite nail tech-oriented things to do throughout the year? I would like to try at least one new event in the coming year.

Kim and I got up early one day before class and caught this Smoky Mountain sunrise.

This year, my pal and coworker Kim Jones was kind enough to finally coax me into seeing more of the mountain, rather than just the show itself. The area is absolutely beautiful with some peaceful places tucked in all over. We saw a momma bear with cubs, elk, and lots of fountains and river bed locations.

I’m learning to appreciate the nail events themselves and the locations that host them.

Reopening? Know Your Numbers
