International nail art sensations Viv Simmonds (of Australia) and Catherine Wong (of Singapore) are joining forces to teach a “Designer Nails Extravaganza” class on June 16 in Las Vegas.

As the editor in charge of NAILS Magazine’s Style section, I see a lot of nail art, and Catherine and Viv are two of the few artists who I’d put in the “phenomenal” category. They have skills, talent, and vision — and I’m blown away by all the art they create.

Viv says, “Catherine and I have worked together before, but doing our own classes. That’s what led us to joining forces and developing these classes together. Vegas is our launch and our intentions are to take this all over Europe. We both share such a passion for our industry and especially the artistic side so we just work so well together!”

The class will teach trends like the stiletto edge, carvings and engravings, new design techniques the duo has developed (flowers, etc.), and behind-the-scenes techniques like product control, brush control, and finishing to perfection.
