OPI Products Inc. is in Las Vegas today to reveal the colors of its upcoming Miss Universe Collection of polish, which will be available in September. The four new colors will be unveiled tonight at a private reception at Color, A Salon by Michael Boychuck at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, a special event surrounding the 2011 Miss USA Pageant. Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, says, “We couldn’t have a better partner than OPI to create a collection that captures the spirit and glamour of our pageants. With vibrant colors and clever names, the OPI Miss Universe collection will be fashion forward and striking just like our beauty queens.”
Equally exciting is the fact that the nail industry’s own Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s executive VP & artistic director, will be a Miss USA Pageant judge on the live telecast. So be sure to tune in to NBC on Sunday at 9 p.m. Eastern to watch the live telecast. The winner of Miss USA will go on to compete in the Miss Universe competition on September 12 in São Paulo, Brazil.
