With the influx of extra clients you may have right now for the holidays, what are you doing to bring them back next year? Have you gathered addresses for follow-up cards or birthdays as a reason to contact them in the future? What are you doing for gift cards? A common complaint is gift cards never get used or they come back in many years after issue.

What have you tried to encourage use of the gift card? Maybe inserting a business card that promises a free paraffin dip with appointments made and kept by Valentine’s Day? How about art upgrades, extended massage time on pedis, etc.? It is hard to think about January and February right now but pre-planning can help keep them from being slow. Sure you should have had a game plan by now, but time flies past the best of us and it is not too late to build a little business for early next year by taking advantage of the business you have now!
