I've attended a few Tammy Taylor classes over the years, but this past weekend I got to witness Tammy Taylor (yes, THE Tammy Taylor) working with one lucky nail tech in a very unique hands-on approach. Standing over Valerie Sam, the owner of House of Nails in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Tammy guided Valerie's hand so she could really get a feel for Tammy's technique of creating perfect pink-and-white acrylic nails. Showing Valerie how to dip the brush in first the liquid, then the powder, and then the soft application of the bead to the nail, Tammy helped Valerie practice over and over her application technique on a unique practice sheet. Valerie was thrilled with the personalized hands-on education. And Tammy was completely accessible to meet and talk to her many fans on the show floor.

Each day at the show during her class Tammy also gave away a trip to California to come train with her in a private two-day class in the corporate offices of Tammy Taylor.
