How did you like the tour of New Zealand? If you missed it, just hit up the Creative NZ Facebook, my Instagram, Facebook, or browse below for pictures!

It was absolutely stunning to drive from the South Island where Creative NZ headquarters is located up to the Beauty Expo on the North Island in Auckland.

The ferry ride was absolutely breathtaking. I so very much appreciate my hostess, Aimee, for showing off her beautiful country and having me back at the expo.

Additives and stamps were the hottest trend at the expo. The nail competitions were held again and showcased some amazing skills. The nail fashion class on Monday following the NZ Beauty Expo had a whopping 37 nail professionals in attendance. We almost exceeded the room capacity!

Thank you to everyone that took the time to come to the expo or the class. It was wonderful to see those of you I met last time, and lovely to meet new faces as well. The next expo is two years from now and I’ve already got it on my schedule, however, Aimee and I just might be cooking up something for next year so keep an eye out!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
