Save the Nails with the Nail Snorkel

Ever been told you need to let nails breathe? We've figured out the perfect solution.

How many times have you heard someone ask if their nails breathe, or have been told that nails need to take a break, or use only certain products to help the nails breathe?  The final straw for me, no pun intended, was when a friend was actually told at school, by someone presented as an expert, not to use gel as it would prevent nails from breathing.  This led to lots of humorous discussions amongst myself and other professionals at Premiere Orlando. Several of us decided to take it a step further and create an infomercial that we hope will become a source of education that goes viral. Once you stop laughing, please share the video with everyone you know and #savethenails.

Huge thanks to Allison Stout for sculpting the facemask and mouthpiece, as well as figuring out the perfect tubing. Major thanks to my big brother Lucien Henderson, owner and founder of Empower Nail Art, for concepting the infomercial, acting as the good doctor, and giving us all the chance to pass along a dose of education with a smile!! I’m going to guess you can figure out who was behind the camera, got the cue cards in the way (oops) and also contributed to the nail snorkel design and bling.

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
