When teaching classes last weekend in Orlando at the Premiere Beauty Show, several nail professionals mentioned how much my tutorial videos had helped them. Many went on to say they missed them. I got to thinking about it more and more, and realized that I missed them too!
I had stopped doing them for a multitude of reasons: So many complaints about the lighting made me realize I had to stop shooting them in hotels, which was my main source of free time; complaints about background noise meant using the salon or someone’s home was out if they had kids or pets; and more.

Of the people who commented how much the videos helped them, none of them mentioned the imperfection of the video. This got me to wondering if I let a few bad apples ruin the barrel for me. So I am bringing back tutorial videos. They are shot in the same style they always were — no editing, no fancy graphics or music, detailed information, and me just as I am.
