Would you believe there are still some professional beauty shows I have never attended? One such show is the upcoming ISSE in Long Beach, Calif. I have seen the chatter about it online and wondered how it differs from the Midwest show ABS or the southeastern show Premiere. Looks like 2014 will be my lucky year to attend and work Long Beach for the first time! You'll be able to find me in two booths at once!!
You may recognize the name LaVaque from the FingerNailFixer Tools. LaVaque Professional carries many great tools originally designed for make-up artists that become amazing tools for nail professionals as well. Barry LaVaque and I even have something exciting coming about in March, so be sure to keep an eye out for that announcement. I will be working at the LaVaque booth #1369 using some of those tools with, you guessed it, CND products so that you can see how they integrate into your workspace. You can meet Barry the owner of LaVaque and chat with either of us or even get some pix. If you use another brand, don't be shy! A lot of techniques are universal, so come hang out and play nails with me anyway!
The other booth you'll see me in simultaneously is the Empower Nail Art booth #1371. I love using the Empower to jazz up my Shellac and Vinylux, so swing by and we can brainstorm all kinds of things to do with it. I'll be sure to bring lots of my "toys" so we can have a good play with all kinds of Empowered nail fashion.
