If you are intimidated by large shows, a smaller, more intimate setting could be the way to go for you. One example of this is the Nail Tech Event in Gatlinburg, Tenn. It is so much fun to feel like you really have time to ask questions and see a demo. The most requested demos this weekend were for different types of nail fashion ranging from geometric shapes to texture, hitting on lots of things in between.

I was asked recently if I thought nail art was a fad that was beginning to fade, but this was further proof to me that it's just getting started. When you can create what looks like a fashion accessory and promote it as nail fashion, the client sees it differently than the stereotype they have been envisioning. So if you have been afraid to stick a toe in the nail fashion waters, now is the time to acknowledge that you can do it if you try and set your nail eyes loose for some inspiration!
