Whew. It has been a crazy week and you will not believe where I am! I have come to the NAILS offices to see how things are done and where NAILS is created and the web presence is run. There is a whole cluster of people that work on web content. The parent company of NAILS is called Bobit Business Media and they publish several different magazines that address other trades.

It was really interesting to see how many other magazines Bobit creates and how diverse each of the publications are.

NAILS is the most award-winning of all of them, really blinging out the trophy case.

I got to see how things go from one stage to the next and how much work goes into putting a magazine together. If you are like me, it seems like a chore to put together a brochure or flier for the salon. How many of you didn’t have the time to make a nail notebook? Can you imagine putting together an entire magazine? It really takes a team and the team at NAILS is a lot of fun to be around and so passionate about what they do. I will be sure to gather more info and pix for you during the rest of the visit and maybe let you in on what else we have been up to!

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
