One of the most rewarding things about working in the nail industry is the way that people band together in times of need. Right now the industry is coming together to support Vicki Peters, master nail technician, mentor, and icon. Anyone who knows Vicki knows that she has always supported the nail industry, as it has been her lifelong passion. Now it’s our turn to pay it forward and support Vicki.

We learned yesterday that she has been diagnosed with cancer. She hasn’t been working for some time, so a Go Fund Me site has been set up to help out with expenses while she figures out the next step. You can donate here. You can also pick up a Team Vicki T-shirt for $20, with proceeds going to aid her medical expenses. On Facebook there is a community group set up where updates will be posted and you can share photos of Vicki and words of encouragement.
